Kashi, a US-based natural food company owned by Kellogg, has announced the launch of two USDA certified organic cereals, Kashi Berry Fruitful and Kashi Blackberry Hills, which incorporate organic fruit and whole grains.

Berry Fruitful variety features shredded wheat biscuits with berry filling made with organic fruit, including Concord grapes, apples, raspberries and strawberries, while Blackberry Hills includes organic whole grain rice and wheat flakes with organic blackberries.

Kashi noted that Berry Fruitful offers 6g of fiber and 46g of whole grains; Blackberry Hills provides 3g of fiber and 16g of whole grains per serving.

The two new cereals joins the existing Non-GMO Project Verified foods including Autumn Wheat, Cinnamon Harvest, Island Vanilla, Strawberry Fields, Simply Maize, Indigo Morning (organic) cereals, 7 Whole Grain Flakes and 7 Whole Grain Puffs cereals, and 7 Whole Grain Pilaf.

Available at grocery and natural food retail stores across the US, Berry Fruitful and Blackberry Hills cereals are priced at $3.99.

Kashi is based in La Jolla, California, and its product portfolio includes snack bars, pizzas, cereals, cookies, pilafs, sandwiches, and waffles.
